Membership Conditions and Types

Any adult natural person and legal entity that accepts the goals and Statute of the association may become a member. The Assembly makes the decision on membership admission and notifies the applicant without delay.

The association has the following types of membership:

 

  • Regular Members – legal entities (businesses, institutes, laboratories, and other organizations) and natural persons (experts, engineers, researchers) who are actively involved in the field of asphalt industry and infrastructure, accept the Association's goals and Statute, participate in its work, and regularly pay their membership dues;
  • Associate Members – legal entities and individuals who are not directly involved in the asphalt industry but are interested in the Association's activities and wish to support its work. Associate members do not have voting rights in the General Assembly;
  • Honorary Members – individuals or institutions who have distinguished themselves through special achievements in the asphalt industry, technical and technological development, or in supporting the Association's goals. Honorary membership is conferred by a decision of the Assembly, upon the proposal of the Board of Directors.

Within these categories, the membership of legal entities is further classified by activity as follows: producers of asphalt mixtures, producers of component materials and additives, as well as other legal entities operating in the field of road infrastructure.

Membership in the Association enables active participation in the development of the asphalt industry and road infrastructure, in accordance with the principles of professionalism, sustainability, and professional responsibility.

  • Network and collaborate with experts, institutions, and businesses in Serbia and abroad;
  • Exchange knowledge, experience, and best practices in the field of asphalt mixtures and infrastructure;
  • Contribute to improvement of regulations, standards, and public policies;
  • Attend professional gatherings, conferences, seminars, and training;
  • Access professional publications and relevant information;
  • Representing interests before relevant institutions and organizations.
