Objectives

For better, more sustainable, and more modern infrastructure

The Serbian Asphalt Paving Association (SAPA/DAS) is a voluntary, non-governmental, and non-profit organization that brings together companies and professionals for long-term cooperation in the field of the production, application, and development of asphalt materials and technologies.

The Association was established in July 2025 with the goal of advancing the asphalt industry and infrastructure in Serbia, while fostering a supportive and predictable business environment based on the implementation of best national and international practices.

The Association operates in accordance with the principles of professionalism, sustainable development, transparency, and innovation in the asphalt industry and aims to:

  • Improve the asphalt industry and road infrastructure by promoting quality, efficiency, and sustainability in the production, design, construction, and maintenance of asphalt pavements;
  • Connecting members for the exchange of professional knowledge, experience, and best practices in all phases of infrastructure projects;
  • Promoting the application of modern technological solutions, materials, and methods in accordance with domestic and international standards;
  • Collaboration with scientific research institutions, universities, laboratories, and professional bodies for the development of joint projects, education, and scientific publications;
  • Active participation in the creation of public policies, regulations, normative acts, and professional standards important for the development and regulation of the asphalt industry;
  • Organizing conferences, seminars, forums, training sessions, and other forms of education for members and the wider professional audience;
  • Representing the interests of the Association's members before public administration bodies, chambers of commerce, and professional and international organizations;
  • The promotion of responsible and sustainable business practices in the production and laying of asphalt, with a special emphasis on environmental protection;
  • The development of ethical business standards and the promotion of integrity in public procurement, professional practice, and partnerships between the public and private sectors.
